Sundays 10am at the West St. Tammany YMCA
We know that visiting a new church is sometimes scary.
We’ve created this page so that you can know what to expect before visiting us on a Sunday morning.
Our gatherings are relaxed & relational and typically last 75 minutes. Here’s what you can expect on a typical Sunday:
Live music that focus on our connection with God begins at 10am
One of our leaders teaches a practical lesson from the Bible that usually lasts 30 minutes.
After the teaching we give you a time to respond by reflecting on your own spiritual life, practicing in the Lord’s Supper or communion, & by worshipping through giving.
There is time for prayer. Sometimes we break into small groups and pray specifically for big things happening in our lives.
We have a free gift for every first time guest!

Bridge Church seeks to utilize existing community and neighborhood space in order to live out the values of simplicity and reproducibility. This also helps to keep our overhead low, so that we can put more of our resources into our mission of connecting people to Christ and His mission. We see ourselves as partners with the West St. Tammany YMCA and other organizations as we utilize their space.

Bridge Church is an evangelical, protestant church, but everyone is welcome to worship and grow with us. We teach directly from the Bible. Dress is casual and the setting may seem too informal. The songs may be new to you. We have a class for the kids during the sermon. We will respect your desire to grow and learn at your own pace. You’ll probably meet other Catholics who reconnected with faith at Bridge Church.

Kids ages sitting through 6th grade have an age appropriate class just for them following our live worship and celebration time. This lasts about 25 minutes. They meet in the kids spaces around the YMCA. All our teachers and helpers go through Background checks and regular training through our Bridge Next Gen Ministry. We follow the rhythms of (1) Regular Bible Study, (2) Fun Events, (3) Camps and Retreats, for all our next gen groups. Learn about these opportunities seasonally at a Bridge Gathering.
On any given Sunday, about 30% of our attendance is under the age of 12 and they have a blast! Our Bridge Kid’s ministry offers environments on Sundays for babies sitting independently through 6th grade.
Here’s a breakdown:
