This December, Bridge Church will be heading back to Voodoo Mountain to work with Respire Haiti. This will be our 5th trip to work with this incredible ministry started by Louisiana’s own Megan Boudreaux. You can read the story of Respire in Megan’s great book Miracle On Voodoo Mountain: A Young Woman’s Remarkable Story of Pushing Back the Darkness for the Children of Haiti.
Our annual project has become throwing an Appreciation Banquet for teachers and staff at Respire Christian School. These leaders serve over 500 students that would have little chance at education otherwise. We hope to provide some gifts of encouragement for them and make them feel special for their service.
