God’s design for creation was for it to be a perfect place of fellowship between God and man. Sin corrupted this design and created separation and enmity between God and man. Because of sin, the world was cursed with grief, sorrow, pain, and death. In His love, God sent Jesus Christ to atone for sin, defeat death, and restore relationship with God.

You can connect with God’s original design for your life by saying Yes to Jesus. Placing your faith and truth in him. How?
  1. Admit that you’re a sinner & ask God to forgive you. “For all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just & will forgive us our sins & cleanse us from every wrong.” 1 John 1:9
  2. Believe that Jesus died to pay for your sins & that He is alive today. “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ & believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
  3. Accept God’s free gift of salvation. Don’t try to earn it. “For it is by grace you are saved, through faith — & this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9
  4. Invite Jesus Christ to come into your life & be the Leader (“Lord”) of your life. “to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God” John 1:12

Bridge Church gathers on Sunday’s, 10am at the West St. Tammany YMCA. Our gatherings are relaxed & relational. Here’s a step by step walkthrough of what we do each Sunday:

  • Live music that focuses on our connection with God starts at 10:00am.
  • One of our leaders teaches a practical lesson from the Bible that usually lasts about 25 minutes.
  • After the sermon we always give you an opportunity to respond by reflecting upon your own spiritual life, participating in the Lord’s Supper or communion, & by worshiping through giving.
  • Gatherings usually last about 75 minutes.
  • There is time for prayer. Sometimes we break into small groups and pray specifically for big things happening in our lives.
  • We have a free gift for every first-time guest.

God made you for a purpose. He desires to extend His grace to you through life IN Christ & then extend His grace THROUGH you to others through life on mission. Our primary mission is making disciples, i.e. helping others discover the grace of God through knowing Christ and joining His Mission.

Bridge Church wants to help you get equipped to do this with everyone, everywhere. We also have opportunities to do this together. Here are some opportunities:
  • Bus Stop Ministry: Friday’s 3:30-4:30pm at Oak Villa Mobile Home Park – Provide snacks and Good News to kids at West St. Tammany’s largest Mobile Home Park. 15455 Ronald Reagan Hwy., Covington.
  • Following Faith: Roatan Honduras – LINK – Connect with medical and discipleship mission in the Caribbean. Annual Mission Trips planned.
